The "Short-Term Outlook" section of our daily Market Commentary informs readers about where we think the market is likely to head during the next trading session. The next trading session's sentiment is based on the volume and money flow analysis applied to the intraday charts of the major market indexes (S&P 500, Russell 2000, Nasdaq 100 and DJI).

The "Short-Term Outlook" section could be split in several subsections which

a) usually is based on the 5- and 15-minute index charts and explains the odds of market behavior at the market open (during the first hour) on the next trading day,
b) based on the 30-minute index charts and explains overall market sentiment for the next trading day,
c) gives points on what indicators and charts to watch when next trading session's outlook is close to be neutral or uncertain.

As a rule, we provide charts and indicators settings used in defining our next trading session's outlook and while relaying on the analysis presented in the "Short-Term Outlook"  section it is recommended to monitor charts during the trading hours - the new intraday volume surges and changes in money flow direction may affect the short-term trend and push indexes in a new direction. At the same time it is recommended to consult the outlook presented in our "Longer-Term Outlook" section as well as longer-term charts since the shorter-term trend could be under the influence of the parent longer-term trend.
