  • Market Status

The Market Status section of our daily Market Outlook informs readers about where we think the market is likely headed over the shorter-term. A short-term trend may usually lasts from several hours to several days. Information posted in the Market Status section could be useful for short-term trades.

This section is split in several subsections which describe the past day market performance, explain the role of the volume surges in the intraday price reversals and based on the most recent volume behavior point to the possible scenarios of future shorter-term trend development.

While relaying on the analysis presented in the Market Status it is recommended to monitor charts during the trading hours - the new intraday volume surges may affect the short-term trend and push indexes in a new direction. At the same time it is recommended to consult the longer-term charts (Market Stage) since the shorter-term trend could be under the influence of the parent longer-term trend.
